Prospective Members


“Alpha Zeta was founded to encourage the fellowship of agricultural students consecrated to the cause of agriculture; this fellowship fermented with the spirit of love and fraternity.”


New Member Expectations

Shall be currently enrolled in a land grant college (Rutgers University, School of Environmental and Biological Sciences)
Shall have completed at least one year of their four-year college course
Shall be in the upper two-fifth (top 40%) of his or her class
Shall be possessed of those great qualities of leadership and character as to make him or her of future value to agriculture
To gain insights into the roles and responsibilities of the chapter officers
To learn national and local history of the fraternity
To form strong bonds with fellow new members
Satisfactory completion of a position paper and defense during initiation
Payment of $120 initiation fee
Attendance to new member meetings, new member service project, installment ritual one, and initiation.
